What is the C-Fund?
The C-Fund is the Joyful Noise Christian Childcare giving program which supports quality early childhood programs in the Grand Haven, MI and surrounding areas! Some of the programs supported by the C-Fund are free services offered to the community, with a focus on those in need or under-served, such as the Gift of Music free early childhood music classes (offered by Joyful Noise). The C-Fund also supports the growing needs of Joyful Noise’s high quality early childhood program, which offers a full day of care to infants all the way through school age children.

Children
It’s what we do! We educate and care for students, and their happiness and quality of learning is why we strive for excellence in
all aspects of our program. As a non-profit organization, this means that we must raise funds to ensure that we can continue to
provide this service to the community at a continuing—and improving!—rate of such merit.
Community
Our mission isn’t just about the students and families in attendance at our school. It is about the future of all children—
especially those in our direct area—and the impact we have on the world around us each day. Joyful Noise cares about and
seeks to serve not only our immediate environment but the entire community, creating a positive wave of change for years
to come.
Contributions
They keep us going. With your contributions, we are able to provide our students with new equipment and updated facilities,
and offer our staff extra resources and training. Through your support, we can also exceed state expectations for caregiving
ratios (creating additional supervision and one-on-one care) and create new programs to serve children.
Connections
Are you looking for a way to connect, and make a positive impact on the youth in your community? Even if your own children
are grown with families of their own, you can reconnect with the splendor and excitement of youth and early childhood

A superior start in early childhood translates directly into a confident and successful academic and emotional life. Think of us as
the primer for a beautiful work of art or the strong foundation on which a house is built; our work here is important and time
sensitive! We won’t have a second opportunity to create the groundwork for all of these amazing children—we must get it right
the first time.
Collaboration
This isn’t just “our” project—it’s yours as well! We want to collaborate with you and combine our efforts, because we know that
you care about our mission of educating and caring for children as much as we do. As our children grow and become members
of the community and society, we join each other in the collaborative effort to make the world a better place!
Past Events & Programs
Gift of Music
Through the C-Fund “Gift of Music” Program, Joyful Noise was able to provide free musical instruments and classes for the community and surrounding areas.
Love of Literacy
From 2015-2019, the C-fund “Love of Literacy” Program was able to host an annual Literacy Event at the local library, where families in the community took home a variety of free books and literacy resources, and enjoyed a free pizza dinner. With the help of several area businesses, including School Zone, Brilliance Audio, Domino’s Pizza, Loutit Library and The Bookman, we provided thousands of free books to children in our community!
Golf Scramble “Fun”Raiser
From 2017-Present, First Presbyterian Church has hosted an annual Golf Scramble “Fun”Raiser at Pigeon Creek Golf Course to benefit the Joyful Noise C-fund and improvements to our outdoor play spaces! Members from the community and church congregation spend a fun day golfing for a great cause!
Other Community Events
Through the C-fund, Joyful Noise is able to host numerous center and community-wide events, including an easter egg coloring night, a carnival, a trunk-or-treat and many more!
Staff Development and Training
The Joyful Noise C-fund supports the growing needs of our high-quality early-childhood program. At Joyful Noise, a well-trained and educated staff of teachers is a top priority. With the help of the C-fund, we are able to provide our educators with many valuable professional development opportunities; including staff retreats, guest speakers, routine trainings, certifications, an annual early-childhood educational conference, education assistance, etc.
